Thomas Maddock

EU foreign policy, the Middle East
Thomas Maddock is the Clara Marina O’Donnell fellow (2025-2026). While at the CER, his work will centre on the EU’s foreign policy, particularly in the Middle East.
Previously, Thomas worked at Chatham House in London and at Institut Montaigne in Paris. He holds a master’s degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Politics, International Studies and French from the University of Warwick.
